Ask anyone who has moved twice what they kept, and it is never the stuff. This ceramic heart says it plainly: "It's Not What You Have In Life But Who You Have In Life That Matters."

Hand pressed in the USA under a fused glossy glaze, it holds up for years on a tree. For the friend who says she wants nothing, the one who is hard to shop for, the one who means it: this is the one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a meaningful gift for a friend who is hard to shop for?
A: Skip the category she already owns and give her something with words on it instead. A 2.875" ceramic heart with a line about friendship is hard to duplicate and easy to keep.

Q: Where are these ornaments made?
A: Every heart is designed and hand pressed in the USA. The graphic is applied and fused domestically rather than imported finished.

Q: What do you give a friend who says they do not want anything?
A: Give something that takes up almost no room and asks nothing of her. An ornament sits in a box eleven months a year, which is why "I don't want anything" people accept them.

Q: Is a sentimental ornament too much for a newer friend?
A: This wording works for a two-year friendship as easily as a twenty-year one, because it is about presence rather than history. Nothing in it assumes a shared childhood.

Q: What do you give a friend who values experiences over stuff?
A: Choose the one object that behaves like an annual event rather than a possession. It comes out once a year, gets looked at, and goes away again.

Q: Does a friendship gift have to be expensive to feel personal?
A: No — specificity does the work that price is supposed to do. A line that sounds like something you would actually say beats a costlier gift that could have gone to anyone.
