Good teams are mostly luck. The right five people land in the same place, carry each other for two years, and then somebody takes a job in another city. This ceramic keepsake says what everyone is thinking: "A Truly Great Team Is Hard To Find Difficult To Part With And Impossible To Forget."

Glossy ceramic with a fused graphic under a glossy glaze, built to be kept. Team send-offs, reorgs, the last week before someone transfers: this is the one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a good gift for a whole team at Christmas?
A: One identical keepsake for every person is the cleanest way to gift a team, because nobody compares and nobody is left out. An ornament also costs the same to give to four people as to fourteen.

Q: What do you give a team member who is transferring to another department?
A: A transfer is a goodbye without the finality, so the right gift honors the years together rather than closing the door. This one says the team was worth staying for without guilt-tripping anyone.

Q: Is there a gift that works for coworkers with completely different tastes?
A: An ornament is close to taste-proof, since it does not have to match a kitchen, a wardrobe or a diet. That clears an office where you know little about people's home lives.

Q: Can this hang on a small office tree?
A: Yes, it is light enough for the flimsy branches on a desktop tree and small enough not to crowd them. It also sits fine propped on a shelf if there is no tree at all.

Q: What is a good going away gift from a team?
A: The best going away gifts come from the group rather than one person, and name the years rather than the job title. Add a card everyone signs and it is done.

Q: How much should you spend on a coworker gift?
A: Most offices settle around twenty dollars, and going far over it makes the recipient uncomfortable rather than pleased. A keepsake lands inside that range.
