It started as one lease and turned into a decade. This glossy ceramic heart puts it on the tree: "Here's To The Months That Turned Into Years With Friends That Turned Into Family."

Hand pressed in the USA, the fused graphic stays sharp under the glaze for years of December unpacking. Old roommates, friendship anniversaries, the group that still books the same December weekend: this is the one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is a good gift for a friend who feels like family?
A: Choose something that goes where family things go, which for most people is the tree. A ceramic heart about friends turning into family says it without a speech.

Q: Is the ornament shaped like a heart or a circle?
A: It is a heart, 2.875" across at the widest point. The shape is cut before firing rather than printed onto a round blank.

Q: What do you give a roommate you have lived with for years?
A: Mark the time rather than the apartment, since the lease is the least interesting part. This wording turns a run of shared years into something she can hang up.

Q: What is a good friendship anniversary gift?
A: Anything dateable works, and an ornament is the easiest thing to write a year on the back of. It then resurfaces on that anniversary every single December.

Q: What do you give a group of friends who spend every holiday together?
A: Matching ornaments are the standard answer, because everyone ends up with the same object on a different tree. It is a cheap way to make a tradition official.

Q: Is a keepsake ornament a good gift for a friend in her twenties?
A: Yes, and often it is her first ornament that is not a hand-me-down. First trees are usually short on anything with meaning attached.
